WHO WE ARE
The club began as the Bichon Frise Club for the
Pacific Northwest in July 1982, and held it’s first sanctioned match
in October 1982 with 41 entries at the Clark County Fairgrounds in
Vancouver Washington.
The club served Bichon Fanciers from British Columbia,
Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Montana and Idaho. The club hosted its first
National Specialty in 1987.
On February 14, 1988 at a meeting in Longview, Washington the
constitution and bylaws were amended and the name of the club was
changed to “The Bichon Frise Club of Puget Sound.” The club now serves
Washington and Oregon.
